Amarantines et Héron cendré

This project explores the concept of herbarium through intriguing technics and subtle compositions. Authentic plants, delicately dried and pasted on paper, coexist with a collection of drawn small animals. I want to guide the viewer in a reflection on the interconnection between the plant and animal world, seeking to awaken awareness on the fragility of ecosystems such as grasslands and natural water points, often sacrificed in the name of urbanisation.
In January 2024, I presented a first solo exhibition about this project at the “Cabinet d’Amateur” gallery, in Paris. I also invited 8 international artists to collaborate. (Agrume, Ardif, Eric Lacan, Levalet, Marco Mazzoni, Stom500, Teuthis, Théo Jan)
